I was outraged of the insinuation that I water damaged the cabinet. I called the contractor directly who came out and confirmed the problem was a manufacturer defect, and repaired it. During the final walk-through I noted that a bunch of the marks in the walls were still present.

Additionally there were holes forming in the garage ceiling around where the door tracks were installed. Lennar says they are all just the result of "settling" and that I should repair them myself, an appeal to a supervisor resulted in many of these items being fixed except the large cracks in the garage. The drywall contractor said that Lennar installed the garage door tracks improperly, causing the holes to develop in the ceiling.
